At north of Malé, the pleasant “Val di Rabbi” goes deeply into its northern…its northern Italian western alps travelled by “Rabbies”, closed at midday by the mountains dressed in the forest, at north by cloaked slopes, and little houses and at night by high peaks and glaciers.
The remarks are harsh, marked by conifers forests around the towns and a wonderful abundance of currents water. This magnificent enchanted valley is a real jewel in the Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio, away from large flows of mass tourism and never touched by human presence, is still today one of the few nearly pristine environments throughout the Alps.
Separated by Val di Pejo to the east by mountain Cima Rossa - Vegaia - Tremenesca - Camucina, and dominated north by Ortles Cevedale the Val di Rabbi is certainly among the most characteristic of the Trentino and then and obligation, for an excursion by the trails in this valley from starting the Saènt falls, formed by the river Rabbies that creates games and spectacular jumps in a vacuum, continuing on a scenic trail, then the “steps of monumental larch”, a score of giant trees, exceptionally concentrated at a height of 2,000 meters.
