Stelvio National Park

The stelvio national park, established in 1935, is the largest in the Alps with its 134,620 hectares spread over 24 provinces and 4 municipalities (Trento, Bolzano, Brescia, Sondrio). The Trentino area of the park stretches in the two side valleys of Rabbi and Pejo.

Today the presence of the park is expressed in active protection of the area (monitoring, surveys, maintenance, recovery and landscape) on the one hand and exploitation of other, with a conscious and tourism respectful.

The morphological diversity of the territoty, characterized by high altitudinal gradients, allows the coexistence of diverse ecosystems, many species of animals and a very rich flora Flora Park in the Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio the altitude is between 650 m. and 3899 (Mount Ortles).

Vegetation is divided into different sections so that there are changing physiognomy and the composition share and other environmental parameters.
